Thought I might share with you a great workout that I completed, as it is quick, effective and a total body workout.

The best part of all is that it can be done anywhere, with very little equipment (1 x resistance band & 1 x mini band).

Just to make is extra special I went down to the park to complete it, as who would not want to get out into the fresh air right!

I love doing circuits as it keeps the body moving, is soooo effective  not only does it get the heart rate up because you have very little rest, but also builds muscle, which is the best combination for weight loss.

So, here it is!

Split Squats, are a great way to target those legs as well as your core which is used to balance.

Circuit #1

Complete 30-seconds on each exercise, followed by a 15-second rest. Do 4 rounds…

Bulgarian Split Squats (left leg): 30-seconds
Bulgarian Split Squats (right leg): 30-seconds
Banded shoulder presses: 30-seconds
Pushups: 30-seconds

Rest 60-seconds and move back to the top…

After the 4-rounds, rest 2-minutes and move to circuit #2…

Circuit #2

Complete 30-seconds on each exercise, followed by a 15-second rest. Do 3 rounds…

Bodyweight rows: 30-seconds
Banded Glute Raises: 30-seconds
High knees: 30-seconds

Rest 60-seconds and move back to the top…

Body weight rows using the swings.  By changing the position of your feet adds the appropriate resistance to the exercise.
